A WWII Torpedo Plant, Reimagined for a Waterfront Reception
Few venues have a backstory like the Torpedo Factory — a working WWII munitions plant turned art center right on the Alexandria waterfront. Grace and Jordan's reception filled the ground floor with color: jewel-toned florals against exposed brick and steel, gold chiavari chairs under the original mezzanine.
Ed's system was tuned for the room's hard, industrial surfaces — enough warmth to keep the sound from bouncing, enough volume to fill a space with two open floors of neighbors watching from the railings above.
